Roz-e-Qaza:The Last Day, A True Story of a Hibakusha "Atom Bomb"

Witness the destruction of the atom bomb, real and imagined.

In 1998, when India and Pakistan carried out nuclear tests, people of both countries celebrated on the streets. This docudrama is an attempt to show the actual horror that the atom bomb wreaks. Made in collaboration with the Japan Foundation.

In sharp contrast to the sub-continent’s exuberance is the story of Miyuki Kamezawa, an atom bomb survivor, who visited India and Pakistan to speak of the horrors of the atom bomb. Her story, heart-rending and tragic, is depicted through a mix of dramatization and documentary footage.
